The email campaign tool inside Shopify Email uses the same engine — describe the promotion you're running and it drafts the subject line, preheader and body copy, pulling product images from your catalogue automatically.

The real differentiator is Sidekick, the AI business advisor that launched in 2024 and has been steadily improving. Ask it things like 'which products have the best margin?' or 'what's my average order value this month compared to last?' and it pulls the answer from your store data rather than giving a generic response. The catch is that Shopify Magic is entirely useless outside the Shopify ecosystem — if you're on WooCommerce or Squarespace, none of this applies. And compared to a dedicated tool like Jasper or Copy.ai, the copywriting capabilities are narrower.
