Daniel Ayala is the founder and editor of Toolsift. A data analysis and business student with a growing focus on applied artificial intelligence, he started Toolsift after spending months frustrated by AI tool reviews that were biased, sponsored or simply too shallow to help him make a real decision.
Since 2023, he has personally tested and documented over 150 AI tools across productivity, writing, coding, research, image generation and video — building a scoring framework based on real-world performance rather than feature lists or marketing copy. His methodology combines a data analyst's eye for measurable, comparable outcomes with an entrepreneur's focus on practical value and return on investment.
Toolsift publishes independent reviews in English and Spanish, with no paid placements and no sponsored rankings.
